Biggun and Dragons...

As many of you know Biggun is behind in his reading skills.  That also puts a strain on his writing skills too. A friend of ours who is a Senior this year in homeschool (CW), has offered to help Biggun in this area.  CW offered to write a book (story) with Biggun.  She has been using the curriculum One Year Adventure Novel in her own schooling.

For the first few weeks she had him working on some details.  She will have him review the writing process   before they move forward.  They had taken two weeks off due to Boy Scout camp and dr. appointments on her end.

  Biggun has tried to use the writing software that comes with his time4learning.com and that lead him to request to type up his homework that CW has assigned him. That way he can have it spell checked before taking to her.  I think that is a great idea.  I know he has trouble putting it on paper but putting it on the computer seems to be a little easier for him.  Maybe that is the answer for us all along. We will see what comes of this book (story) they are writing.

I am excited to see what the two of them come up with. Right now the only thing I know for sure is that this book (story) will be about dragons.
