This year we chose to use Notgrass American History, that covers history, bible, writing and english. This is a very reading intensive curriculum. We have moved slowly through this curriculum due to the amount of reading involved. Going slowly has also led to some great conversations and digging deeper in all areas. I love how this curriculum is showing how the bible and the American history are very similar.
The past few weeks we have been reading different areas in the bible that he has to figure out what time frame, what was the error during this time, and who lead them out of this error. Very similar to how George Washington and James Maddison helped our country move through times of error.
I can't wait to to see what world history high school course is like. What do you use for History with your high schooler? We might add time4learning.com's world history course next year, too.
