2011-2012 Strouse Academy Roll Call

It is that time of year. The time when most homeschoolers are preparing for the upcoming school year.
This year we are adding a student to our roll.

I am joining the classichousewife.com and her
Back to (Home) School 2011.

I am a little late and I know it is not Monday BUT this looked like a great blog hop to join!

This year's students are....

Biggun - 12years old - 7th grade

Biggun has worked hard to catch up his reading skills.  He is still behind what were a normal 7th grader would be in physical reading but he is right on task with his knowledge.  We will continue to work on his reading and spelling.

and

Honey - 4 years old - pre -k

This will be the first time we have has actual time set aside to do learning.  I am not going to push this because I want her to love school.  She is getting excited seeing her "school" books come in.

Moose is not a student this year but will get to learn all kinds of fun things right along side Honey!

  2. What a lovely family you have! Isn't it wonderful that with homeschooling we can school according to our student's time frame! What is a blog hop? God bless Pippa

  3. Thank you Pippa, I love that we can make our school fit each of our children. A blog hop is when you hop from blog to blog. :^) This blog hop started at classichousewife.com if you go to her blog then read the blog hop Back to (Home) School 2011-2012, scroll down to the end of the blog and you will see other blogs have linked back to this blog. From there you blog hop from blog to blog reading what each blog has to say about that subject. Make comments and even join in and blog about it too and add your blog. There are other types of blog hops but I am not sure how they work. I hope that answers you question.
