James 1:2-4

2Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, 3knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.4And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.

James 1:2-4

Boy did I need to read that today.  We have had our share of trials that our endurance is building.

This verse was shared in my bible studying today.

I love the way this study has summed up what I have been learning this past week or so.

After the verse James 1:2-4 it goes on to say.

God has made provision for us so we are "lacking in nothing." That provision is not found in prosperity, but in trial.  That's because He's perfecting our character, not our finances. Note how the phrase  "lacking in nothing" qualifies the phrase "perfect and complete," which of course refers to our character not our money.
That exert was from page 36-37.
