Biblical/Wordly Definitions of Fool.
It is wonderful how God works cause somewhere my littles have heard the word fool and have been using it. I have always hated this word. But I have hated this word because of the wordly definition which is
Fool: noun, a harmless deranged person or one lacking in common powers of understanding.
But this morning in Sunday School we discussed this word in detail. I shared a memory I had from 4th grade.
I remember when I was in public school in 4th grade and a boy in my class called someone a fool. My teacher Mrs. Washington had him read from the bible. At the time I do not remember exactly what bible verse it was that she had him read. But I am lead to believe it was one of these below most likely Matthew 5:22.
The Biblical definition of Fool is the person who denies there is a God.
As found in Psalm 14:1
The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.”
and
As found in Matthew 5:22b
...and whoever says, ‘You fool,’ shall be guilty enough to go into the fiery hell.
Both biblical and wordly definitions of this word are ugly. I myself do NOT want myself or my children to a biblical fool! We will be discussing the biblical definition the next time some one says this word.
How about you?

Yes, Mommeeee
Tonight at dinner I had the chance to do some training with Moose. Remember Moose is 2 years old and everyone talks for him so he is slow to really talk, but it is coming along. So here is what you would have heard.
Mommy : Moose are you all done eating?
Moose : Yeah
Mommy: You mean yes ma'am.
Moose: Yes
Mommy: Yes ma'am
Moose: Yeah uhuh
Mommy: Yes ma'am
Finally Moose looks up at me in his cute little face with a question in his tone,
Yes Mommeeee?!?!?
Oh my heart just melted. Poor thing cant say ma'am but he sure can say Mommmmeeeee, the reason for all the m's and e's is that is how he says it. He drags out the m and the e.
This little boy is just too cute!

Secret
Yes, I have a "Secret"
I just love vanilla and this is my deodorant and my littles love my deodorant, too.
Every time I turn around they are getting it and putting it on. Yes they do know that it goes under the arms. At least when they put it on they put it on in the right place, right?
It just cracks me up that when I go to give my little Moose a hug he sometimes smells
va va vanilla good.

Childrens Museum
This past Monday, we were able to go to a new...
We were lucky to get in for the school price. The best part is they looked at each homeschool family as a class and Mom being the Teacher.
Teachers got in Free.
Teachers got in Free.
This is a wonderful thing as most places will not give that kind of discount.
The museum was great for the kids. They really enjoyed it, if there is ever another homeschool trip we will go back but I just can't imagine going at the regular price. I have a cold and only had the energy to keep up with them with the littles for a few hours.
This was a tug boat that made all kinds of sound that Honey kept going back to. She could honk the horn, play music and so much more. She LOVED it. Also it has a big S on the side we thought that was pretty cool. (S is the first letter in Honey's real name)
There is this real cool climbing thing. I did not get a pic of the whole thing but Biggun really liked it. It took you from the first floor to the second.
Moose found the tools and was trying to fix this crane that Biggun was using.
They danced to music w/ light going. (Yes, Honey wore boots w/ shorts girl has her own style.)
That is my Biggun. He had so much fun with this one.
They prepared pretend pizza
They pretended to be vet's
Moose was a fireman. Boy did he enjoy driving but did not want to share with others. He left the firetruck kicking and screaming and we went to the Mini Publix.
While Honey shopped and shopped and shopped.
Moose just cried and cried he wanted to go back to the fire truck.
We moved on and found this great find. Moose was in heaven...
All these cars and bridges to drive over!!!
We moved on to the Water Canal area.
Here is a view from the stairs.
Here is a view from the stairs.
But again poor Moose got upset. He just could not understand why he could not take off his shirt.
When he finally let go of the idea and just got wet he had fun.
The kids had a blast. There is so much more then what I shared in pictures.

Can't get enough....
If you know me in person you know my kids are very attached to me. Well at least the littles are. It is always "Mommy do it" or "Momma Momma Momma" The past two days it seems my little Moose has been doing it a little bit more. As I sit taking a break from washing dishes, to read some blogs. My little Moose climbs in my lap. Now he does not want to really sit here w/ me. Cause he can't see his sister and what she is doing from where I am sitting. So up and down he goes. Just needing a little extra Mommy time. Then down to do what little boys do. Again he is back in my lap for a few minutes. It is as though he can't get enough of the Momma.
I know this time will pass soon. I can look at my Biggun (11yrs) and the time he spends w/ me is no where near what it used to be. He has friends and other things he wants to do. So I might complain about this stage where they can't get enough of me to the point I can't even shower or potty by myself. But I know to well it is short lived and it will be gone before.
Pictures are fuzzy they were taken w/ my cell phone. Oh and the top one Moose is holding on to my arm the whole time in that picture then he was on the other side of me when I took the pic w/ Honey. The boy would just not let go of me for almost 2 straight hours. He was happy if I sat with him.

Sleeping Prayers...
No matter how big or small my kids are they still my little ones. Now don't tell my 10 year old I said that. One of my favorite things to do as a Mom is to watch my kids sleep. I know unless you have kids you might not understand that gooey feeling you get inside when you watch your sweet blessings sleeping so peacefully. They grow up to fast.
I take this time to pray for each of my kids. As Jesus prayed for his disciples.
13 “Now I am coming to you. I told them many things while I was with them in this world so they would be filled with my joy. 14 I have given them your word. And the world hates them because they do not belong to the world, just as I do not belong to the world. 15 I’m not asking you to take them out of the world, but to keep them safe from the evil one. 16 They do not belong to this world any more than I do. 17 Make them holy by your truth; teach them your word, which is truth. 18 Just as you sent me into the world, I am sending them into the world. John 17 : 13-18.
As I watch them sleep, I pray for their future. I pray for their future spouse, children, their calling - jobs, to name a few of the many things I pray for while watching my beautiful blessings sleep.

PS. I recommend reading all of John 17.

Season of Life
Season of Life, what does this statement mean? For many this statement means little ones in their life but for others it means a trying time in their life. For me it means both.
My world changed so much over the past 4 years. From the unexpected pregnancy, then to find out it was a GIRL, to finally getting used to the idea and enjoying my daughter to the surprise of a lifetime to learn God had blessed us again w/ another little one to come.
Now fast forward about 4 years later and you have a beautiful opinionated soon to be 3 year old girl and a loveable active 1 year old boy that make our family complete. Being that we were a family of 3 for so long; about 8 years, we are definatly in a "Season of Life" of little ones.
Our family has been established since 1993 and in the past 6 months we have had more sickness and injury in our house then we have ever had. Just when we think we are getting healthy in our house another child gets sick. Then on Dec 28th, Big Daddy gets into a motorcycle accident and we now through in the injury. I am told by many it is due to the "Season of Life" we are in.
The Bible tells us "For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven." Ecclesiastes 3.
It gives me such comfort to know that God knows all before it happens and even though I might feel like this "Season of Life" will never end due to all the ups and downs we have been having. I know all to well that this "Season of Life" is flying by and will be gone before I know it, I will look back on this time and wonder why I wanted it to end so fast.
I am reminded "I am certain that God, who began the good work within me, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns."
Philippians 1:6
What "Season of Life" are you in?
